Accordia Bank certificates of deposit overview
Pros
-
All Accordia CDs earn solid or high yields.
-
Early withdrawal penalties are reasonable.
Cons
-
No terms over five years.
Accordia offers a selection of CDs with a decent range — from six months to five years. Given the options, you can take advantage of the high APYs and build a CD ladder with decent spacing. The $1,000 minimum deposit is relatively standard, but note that many online banks have lower minimum deposit requirements.

Accordia Bank High-Yield Savings account overview
Pros
-
Competitive APY even without boost.
-
No monthly fee.
-
Low minimum opening deposit of $100.
Cons
-
Best APY only available to Utah residents.
Accordia's savings account has a competitive APY that’s marketed prominently, and the recent website update contains a lot more information about the account. You can now find the minimum opening deposit of $100, and the fact that there are no monthly fees — fairly standard for online, or mostly online in this case, banks.
While the APY is competitive even without the boost, only Utah residents get the absolute best yield. You'll also be limited to six free withdrawals a month, so it's best if you're sure you're going to park your money and let it sit for the most part.
Customer experience
Customer support. Customer service representatives are available over the phone on a limited basis, especially compared to other online banks. You can only reach someone 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. MT, Monday through Friday. There is also a live chat option on the website, and an email form.
Few mobile ratings. Banking can be done through Accordia's website or through its mobile app. The app has had few users who have rated it, and those reviews have been middling to good.
Self-service help. Accordia now has a full self-service help page, but usefulness is mixed. The "Find a solution" section offers a broken external link for information about a lost or stolen debit or credit card and several links to product pages that are light on information.

| Accordia Bank is a saver’s bank. In addition to high-yielding CDs, it also offers a high-yield savings account. There’s no monthly fee for the account, but the best yields are only available to Utah residents. | Capital One’s 360 Performance Savings Account earns a strong yield (though it’s not the absolute highest available). It doesn’t require a minimum opening deposit and you won’t pay a monthly service fee with this account. Capital One is one of the few online banks that has a branch network if you want the option of in-person banking, though they’re only in select states. | |
